Teachers Resource Guide

Teachers Resource Guide – offers educators comprehensive instructions for 9 hands-on classroom projects that combine information about Texas Rivers – their origins and destinations; a chronicle of events that occurred along their banks; and how they contribute to surface water supplies today – along with an in-depth look at geology / aquifers/ watersheds and some other background information to stimulate independent study and exploration.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY…

It has been our approach to have our education materials sponsored for classroom use. ISD budgets continue to be tight, with little extra funds available for teachers to supplement classroom materials…even on a topic as critical as WATER. The materials are affordable and are provided to educators clearly identified with the sponsor’s name/logo. Sponsorship is available to MUDs, water authorities, water industry consultants, and interested business leaders or even parents or grandparents. Sets can also be purchased for use in libraries.

We feature an Educator’s page on the website for posting of updates, teacher input/classroom experiences/photos and examples of projects. Website information is provided with the materials.

The TEXAS WATER materials are packaged in a set that includes the Resource Guide Notebook; an attractive tote bag; and the DVD — $50 each.
